Home Care Plus specializes in High-Tech Infusion services. We are committed to providing high quality therapies for children and adults with acute and chronic healthcare issues. Combining advanced technology with skilled medical professionals, Home Care Plus assists patients and their families in making the transition from the hospital or physician's office to care in the home.

  About Us

Under the direction of your physician, Home Care Plus will coordinate everything you need for quality healthcare, including the delivery of supplies, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and nursing. Our registered nurses and pharmacists are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Home Care Plus is prepared to respond to the needs of each individual patient.

The goal of Home Care Plus is to serve all our patients throughout Indiana and the Midwest, and the many physicians who care for them, by combining High-Tech Infusion services with warmth, compassion and specialized clinical care.

Our Staff
HCP Administration - Excellence is the Key
Becky
As a 1975 graduate of the Indiana University School of Nursing, Becky directs clinical operations for Home Care Plus. Her 27 years of experience began in hospital critical care progressing to hands-on home infusion therapies and later to marketing and management roles. Becky transitioned from direct patient care to the development of educational programs for patients and staff. She ascended to operations management in large infusion companies adding to her outstanding reputation. Becky has since been contracted by and consulted with home health agencies conducting feasibility studies and accreditation programs. Few in the infusion industry possess more business and clinical knowledge.

Kathy
Kathy received a BSN from DePauw University in 1986. She began her career as a staff nurse at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital caring for 6 month to 3 year old children. This led to a 13 year experience in home care with a particular emphasis on infusion therapy. Kathy's primary skills were honed as a clinician and case manager. She joined HCP in April 2001 and currently coordinates patient coverage with government and private insurance providers. Kathy is the key HCP liaison between the physician and the patient.

Margaret
Margaret graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 1980. She has specialized in infusion and IV therapies throughout her nursing career. She has extensive hospital experience with administration in all types of therapies. She has developed policies and procedures for new devices and medication to ensure safe use and administration. Entering home infusion in 1988, Margaret found many opportunities to learn new therapies and procedures. She began working with implanted pumps in 1989 and learned to manage programmable implanted pumps by 1994. She joined Home Care Plus in 2001 and is responsible for patient care as well as teaching and follow up assessment of nurses in home nursing agencies with whom we collaborate.

Julie
Julie received BSN and MSN degrees from Indiana University in 1992 and 1997 respectively. She has eight years experience working as a staff and charge nurse on the Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit at Methodist Hospital. She has five years experience working with two rehabilitation physicians and a renowned neurosurgeon, refilling and managing Medtronic Intrathecal pumps. She has extensive experience working with special needs clients in the areas of Cerebral Palsy, Brain and Spinal Cord injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, and Chronic Pain. She is regarded as one of the very best Medtronic clinicians in the state.

Laurie
Laurie is a graduate of Purdue University, soon after, gaining a Masters Degree from the University of Kentucky. She has over 13 years experience in billing, 9 of which relating to infusion therapies. She has managed billing affairs at Home Care Plus since it’s inception in 1998. Among other responsibilities Laurie closely monitors healthcare regulatory issues and manages information technology and compliance matters for HCP. She is an extremely valuable member of our staff.

Libby
Libby graduated from Indiana University School of Nursing in December 1995. Three and a half years ago, after a few short forays in hospital unit nursing, she found her true calling in home health nursing with a focus on home infusion. A few short days after joining the home healthcare industry Libby was given her first patient with a Medtronic Pump and has been a huge proponent of intrathecal baclofen pump therapy ever since. Libby is a great patient advocate and always does her best to assure all patient healthcare needs are met when and whenever possible. Libby handles patient scheduling, pharmacy, delivery, and patient care coordination. She is a valuable member of the HCP Team.

Sheila
Sheila's career began after receiving business and medical training from Chaffey Jr. College in Ontario, California and Indiana Business College in Indianapolis. Sheila's 11 years in health care includes extensive experience in insurance verification and billing, including ICD-9 and CPT coding. She has a pivotal role at Home Care Plus in both clinical and administrative support.
